OK, so I stole the title for this post from the actual article. That’s because it couldn’t be put more succinctly. I’ve had plenty of pets over my lifetime, and while I loved them all, especially this little fluffy white ball of rabbit fur named Gracie, I know without a doubt the bond between me and my dogs is stronger than anything I’ve experienced.
These are species that over the centuries have learned to live with and love with each other in a manner no other animal and human pairing comes close to. The closest I’ve seen in my life are man and horses, such magnificent animals.
But then there’s dogs. Their love is pure and unconditional, and the time is always right to revel in the bond we have,
